That happened about 30 miles south of my location. Perfect example of why a fellow needs to start early. Most 80 year olds are probably not the best candidates to be driving Class A's. Yes and I know some are probably better fit to drive then some 50 year olds but on the average age isn't an advantage.

Lucky to walk away. Think that one is fiberglass? Hard for me to tell.

Looks like their tow bar held and their car stayed right side up.

Three years ago I was almost killed by an elderly man in a big class A.
He was 86 and he was doing well over the speed limit in the wrong lane of a busy highway. But that happened to be the lane I was travelling in and we had a head on collision at highway speed. Still not sure why I am not dead.

Can't imagine either . You would think the family would take the keys. Big reason I am giving up the bikes this year. That and the reality of my own limitations. Be nice to make it to 86 but have the grandson drive me.

John, Based on recent events you'd be better off giving up hand held drills!

I see the logic in that suggestion Rick and I've provided ample evidence to support your considered opinion. However the risk of being "drilled" by a second party is minimal. Run over on the highway not so. None of this is written in stone but processing .
