Hi all my name is Wayne and I kinda collect anything with 2 stroke Detroit Diesel power. Naturally the Wanderlodges caught my eye and now I'm looking for a PT36, 38, 40 or even an early WB. Long time lurker but I'm actually getting more serious about the purchase so I figured I'd sign up. I'm very familiar with the 2 strokes so if you have any questions I'm happy to help.

A 2 stroke Detroit guy?
Your going to be a popular guy here!
The only way you would have more friends is if you had free BBQ!
Welcome to the zoo!

Oddly yes. I live for the things. I have one swapped into my pickup truck even. I've assorted a collection of some of the rarest and most desireable 2 stroke DDs ever built. Here's a picture of my 74 Peterbilt I rescued last year from the original owners. That is it's original 12v71 Detroit that's done only 306,000 miles. Sure wish I could get one of those in a Wanderlodge!!

If any of you guys are looking for some mudflaps I had these made and still have some left. Standard truck flap size and I have a shorter one also that's 24x24".

GSA?

I inframed the 453t in my pickup 2 years ago.... here's a few.

^^ yes those are jake brakes and yes I have them on my pickup

It's filthy now to the point you'd never know i rebuilt it. The truck is routinely driven and pounded on offroad.

Video is better than pics right? This was before the lift and tires but after the rebuild. I have the same injectors you all have in the busses in my little 53 so she blows black a little till it comes up on the turbo then it's clean.

It's a king pin dana60 front, the little 453t only weighs 1300lbs so a 44 would be ok also. It has the factory 4 speed with a 3 speed auxiliary behind it. It's sure fun to drive. Truck scales at 9000lbs with 1/4 tank of fuel.
