Question Need Video Control Center

Howdy, WOG.
I hope that this section is the right place for this message.
In our front left hand overhead cabinet(over the cockpit) is a box labelled "Video Control Center". It controls which input goes to which TV. Our control center is getting old and the switches are becoming electrically noisy. I want to replace this center. If you have one to sell or know of any source for this control center, please let me know. Or if you have rebuilt yours, let me know how you did that. I am attaching a photo of the box.

TIA,
Jack

Default av control center

Jack

I did not have one when I go the bird. The PO had some thing like it which he bought at Radio Shack. Unless you are pushing to keep everything original I would just buy a new one. I goggle the following: audio video switch
and got ton and tons of hits.

Sometimes I find some good buys at http://www.summitsource.com/
I bought a bolt on match for the "flying saucer" amplified antenna, digital converter box and several items over time. Poke around a little and you might find something real close to what you have now.

I just changed mine out at Maxton so I could have an input for satellite. Got mine at Camping world.

Jack

The TV switching box is available at Camping world and Radio Shacks.
What is required in our coach is an amplified switching box, other switches do not work, if you change the box with none amplified system your tv will be fuzzy. A friend gave me a Radio shack box, I also bought one on Ebay just in case the one I have brakes down one day.

I'm in the process of hooking up a tracking satellite, and I'm trying to figure out how to re-work everything for digital signal. I need to be able to accept input from a game console, Satellite, and DVD player, then send it to my salon TV, and my bedroom TV. I replaced the old tube in my salon with a 26" Vizio LCD, perfect fit, but the bedroom still has the old tube which I plan to replace.

What type of switch should be required to send these signals?

Thanks

If you plan on using a HDMI cqble there are no boxes for that application. Most new motorhomes do not have a switch box as your newer TV's have so many inputs. You simply seslect the input with your remote. Very easy to use. I think in our 08 Monaco the TV has 5 inputs: hdmI, cable, ant. and 2 more.

I dont plan to use HDMI, and the new TV does have a ton of inputs, but I still would like to send the signal between both TV's (front and rear) Currently I am wired direct to the tv and it works, but I have nothing to the rear.

Thanks
