Default Front overhead rebuild

I pulled out the old tube TV and totally rebuilt the front overhead. I am down to 3 doors instead of 4 and a new 40" 4K Samsung. I needed a place deep enough for the Dish Network receiver, so I put the TV on a swing down mount that is controlled by a linear actuator.

I haven't put the cherry finish on the wood surrounding the TV yet and I haven't finished all of the cabinet and Ozite yet, but you can get an idea.

The first pic is with tv up. Second shows it lowered. And 3rd is a close up. I only wanted access to the Dish receiver, but all of my family think that it would be easier to watch in the down position. Now I have to do an extra super job of finishing off the inside so it looks good lowered. I wasn't really planning on that.

I hooked up the wireless HDMI today. It works great. True 1080p on the bedroom TV and no wires. You can also control all of the components wirelessly through that device. I have one more receiver to install in the bay for the outdoor tv.

Not sure I'll ever really utilize the 4K in the Bird but it was the thinnest unit available and the dimensions were right. I bought a 4K Blu-ray player too so maybe we'll get to see something in 4K. The Dish Network is just 1080.

Sky,

Which wireless HDMI product are you using?

Thanks,

Diego

Looks good, great job. We installed our 32" Samsung several years ago. Largest we could get in there. yours has a smaller bezel, larger in the same area. Larger is always better.
Also, just learned something, i did not know there was as wireless HDMI, opens up some options.

Will do, but I just took the coach in to WW Williams today. They put a new output seal and pto seal in the transmission last fall and it still leaks. I should have it back in a couple of days. I just love going into that shop and seeing all of the big rigs up on hoists. That makes work so much easier.
