Default A little nippy today

We’ve been in the UP for a month. Love it here. Today I have to put a shirt on- it’s only going to 74. Brrrrrrr. Have a great weekend. (The cats love camping)

C’mon up and get away from the heat!

It was 108 heat index near Kansas City yesterday. We’ll be going through the UP at the end of August. We love it up there and would probably move if we could Where are you staying up there?

Darryl
Are you at woodland park? Recommended? Do you have any other UP spots you’d recommend? We are still trip planning. We’ll be going from Rollag MN to Traverse City Mi via the UP.

93 in Little Rock with 57% humidity! It's like walking into a hot, wet blanket going outside.

Down here it's about time to remove the thermometer from the porch and replace it with the oven thermometer

Leroy, we are at Woodland. When we head to the copper country we spend a few nights in Baraga State Park, south of Houghton/Hancock about 40 miles and take the toad further north. September will our first experience staying in Wilkinson, (not Wilderness) and I am packing my woolies. We have camped at KOA in St. Ignace and TeePee and Mill Creek in Mackinaw, Mill Creek being nicer. Wilderness is the furthest northern park on Lake Michigan in the lower, 50 miles or so west of Mackinaw City. We want to go there for the dark park, and its on the route to Leggs restaurant and tunnel of trees, Petoskey and Traverse City Leekenau Peninsula is somewhat east of Traverse City and we’ve stayed at Lake Leelanau RV park. (More than you needed to know? Sorry.)
