Default Question for John Finn

John:

It was nice seeing you in the rest area on Hwy 1 this morning. My question is how old are you that you have to take a nap at 10:30 in the morning? Or how late were you up last night that required a 10:30 nap?

I just had to come back to check and make sure you were not having trouble.

Take care

Not that John is that old or that he stayed up to late the night before. Usually Buddy drives the bird and John gets so nervious by Buddy's driving John's exhausted, that the reason for his naps.

Funny story about morning naps.....

I used to work out with a personal trainer and he had a client named Joe that was about 75 or so. As might be expected, he was on some medication (I think for blood pressure or something like that). Every morning Joe's wife would set out his medication for him and he would head to work (yes....he still worked by choice not necessity). Well, one day Joe went to work and he was dead tired by about 9 or 10 and ended up falling asleep at his desk. Next day, the same thing happened. This went on for about 4-5 days.

So after this happens for about a week, he comes home and his wife is all over him complaining. She had gotten a prescription for Lunesta (a sleep aid) for an upcoming trip to South America and now a bunch of it was gone. I wish you could hear him tell this part of the story as he was pretty crusty about it. It turns out that his wife was giving him her Lunesta every morning instead of his medication. She didn't read the bottle and the pills were almost identical. So, she was feeding him sleeping pills every day and then tried to blame him!

It was pretty funny to hear him tell the story.

I got up at 4AM and the 10:30 nap was at the right tie for me, being retired there is no time schedule.

I have one of the overhead compartments that has nothing but my medications that I have to take for my Kidney transplant and my Heart, Arthritis, etc. I take over 30 pills a day so that will tire you out just counting them out every morning (I actually do a months pills at a time) and being that I haven't quite caught up on my missed naps from the race weekend, I was just scanning the inside of my eyelids that all

Thanks for checking on me Marv, it was nice seeing you again.
