Question Just Curious, How does one earn their wings?

I have noticed there are different "levels" of membership. Junior,Member, Senior. I was just curious how one earns their merit badges?

While Frank is correct as far as Bird "membership" is concerned; with the forum it's simply time and number of posts. So keep asking questions!

Got my wings in '63, jump wings in '66. Don't use either of them anymore, always up for something new

Default Wings?

I used to watch WINGS on TV and I was medically discharged* before I got my Loadmaster wings, back in '64.

* makes you wonder doesn't it

I like the "Resident Rookie" because after 25 years of owning (FCs and WLWBs - even had 2 at once), and working on BlueBirds (anything but computers) I have realized I don't know Jack.... and every time I start a project on the Bird, I learn more than I planned. It is a real piece of work and no two are alike!
I love the Beast!!
