Default Why a Salvage Title?

IMO this coach was not even remotely close to being a “Total”. So why was it?

I’ve been doing what’s become an annual insurance battle . After reviewing this long WOG thread about insurance and Progressive’s so-called Agreed Value offering, I suspect the PO of Matthew’s LXi refused their repairs for what appears to be a minor accident. He did this to force them into a “Totaled” scenario. For those of you who have Progressive AV policies read the fine print closely! Unless a coach is Totaled, Progressive’s AV policies basically revert to ACV and that authorizes them to use whatever basis they want when settling the claim . I suspect the PO of this coach wanted it totaled to get his AV out of it, so he refused their repairs once made and Matthew came out the winner

I replaced my antique rear view cam system with new one from RVS. Added side cams with their RVS-062710 split view screen. But lots of other options including wireless and the newest 360 degree systems, with or without a trailer umbilical for your four legged passengers:

That is awesome! Good for you
Saw the 2017 vintage tires and concluded someone spent some $ on it recently

Great I was watching this one at iaa I am glad someone here picked it up. I am finishing repairs on a SP 36 that was hit in the rear.
I suspect one concern of the ins co . is the availability of parts for a bird. also any hidden damage to the many complex systems .then their is the problem of finding a qualified repair shop , it is cost effective for them to write off the coach and increase the premiums .Good luck and keep us posted

Mathew - Good Luck on your repairs on the SP 36

I removed the rear bumper and repaired the damaged - I hope to get paint on next week

Before we repaired the damaged we made a called to Vision RV Salvage in Ky.
(used LXI rear bumper $ 4,000.00 - did I say USED)

Bulk oil tank removal next on list-
