The coach is in indoor storage for the winter about an hour away,
I'll check the papers tonight.
I can check the tags on the coach next weekend, I'm working a power plant shutdown right now .

Paul, John cleared it up. The # you have should be good. No need to check.

Remember, none of us need the extra work to go look for this stuff if your not prepared to buy it.

John W has already spent some money on a scanner/printer and it needs paper, toner and beer to make it run.
The money you guys pay for the files will be sent to John W. to pay for those items.

I paid $300 to ship all that stuff to my place and John insists i get paid back first, but John and i will fight over that.

SEND MONEY,and if you just want to donated some money send it too.
The Library in Johns area has a microphish reader that prints,we need money to feed that machine too.
John will read the phish and scan the important stuff if we there is anything worth having.
Theres 500lbs of that stuff,so millions of pages...

SEnd cash donations to

Remember,John will get this money to do what HE thinks needs to be done.
This is for the good of all Wanderlodge owners everywhere.
Hold on there young fella! I think we had a breakdown in communication. I mentioned that our small local library has a Microfiche reader meaning that lots of other libraries probably have Microfiche readers too not meaning that I was volunteering to scan a million Microfiche pages.

Flying to Washington DC at the moment so more later when the plane lands.

Safely back on "terra firma"

I only had time to look at a few of the microfiche files that are at Randy's but from what I saw, I think a lot of owners would be interested in having (buying) the microfiche files for their coach. My guess is that there are microfiche files on thousands of coaches.

The problem with the files being on microfiche is that without a microfiche reader, the files are not of much use. Fortunately I found that our local library has a microfiche reader that projects a good enough image on the screen that you can snap a picture with your phone camera or with a digital camera. The microfiche reader at our local library can also print them out on paper but there's a charge for printing them out. Hopefully lots of local libraries will have the same options. It's a time consuming effort to capture the microfiche pages (it took about an hour to record about 50 of my documents) so it's a task that needs to be done by each coach owner.

The information for each coach is different, some coaches have just a few documents and others like mine have 50 or more documents.

As an example, my microfiche file has the Certificate of Origin, the dealer invoice showing dealer cost, the retail invoice showing the original purchaser's price, probably most if not all of the warranty work that was ever done during the warranty period, the paint codes (including how to mix the colors), engine and transmission serial numbers along with hp, gear ratios, ratings, the equipment serial numbers, model numbers, etc. they also include the options list, the blinds colors and dimensions, information on seats cabinets etc, etc. the service parts sheet, and a bunch of interdepartmental messages about my coach.

Default Sending funds even if nothing for my coach

I know that most or all of the responses so far are for the "newer" coaches that may have build sheets available, but it sounds like floorplans and fiche might be available for our pre-'92 coaches. I am sending Randy $100 whether there is anything for my coach or not, because I support the cause and appreciate the effort put forth by all involved. If floorplan or fiche for my coach is available I would love to have it whenever it becomes available - no rush.
