Mine was rusty. Pulled it off and had it bead blasted, then powder coated. Then put my picture on it. Been on now for 15 years no problem.

Ours is way too badly rusted out to bother with repairing. The labor charge to fix it is probably more than the cost to make a new one. So were going to look into that, have it painted to match the bus, and then probably have it wrapped with something cool.

On most of the PT’s the back window is blacked out because there’s a closet back there.. So the rear window is not functional anyway.. Mine does not have a cover, but my buddies 84 does have the cover..
