Default accident in Kenai

The main road has been closed for hours here and we just saw the accident on the news. I think it was a LXI(tan/brown) hit a pickup truck broadside when the pickup pulled in front of him. The two in the truck where killed and the 2 in the Bluebird taken to the hospital.

Thank you for sharing Thomas. Thoughts and prayers to the families involved. The link is to the article with photo of the accident. It also states the Bird owner's injuries were non-life threatening.

It looks like it might be Charle and Robin that we saw at Palmer drag strip. Now it is being reported as a head on collision. The pickup crossed the centerline.

Our hearts and thoughts are out to them. I can't imagine what they are going through. Alaska...that's a world away from Florida. Anything we can do to help?

Will be in Seward tomorrow getting ready to head back to the lower 48. Don't know the extent of damage to their unit but if it will be laid up in the shop for awhile and they are in need of stuff being transported to lower 48 (Illinois) I may be able to assist. Will eventually make it to Florida this winter. Best way to contact is PM.

A sad day for the families of the two in the pickup...
It does go to show how people simply don't respect others on the road and how they should drive to survive and not worry so much about "not being behind that vehicle only going the speed limit."
It also drives home the point of how a well made coach can save lives when things go wrong.
