Default m380 air brake gauges

I have posted about a loss of front gauge indication pressure. I now have both gauges showing -0- lbs when aired up. I replaced the air governor, checked lines from compressor to air dryer and then to "wet tank", drained all tanks both suspension side and brake sides. I have enough knowledge that I know if pressure was low in rear the brakes would apply until pressure was raised. A (no-brainer) I just need to find the VDU box that sends signal to gauges if there is one on M-380s,, or the separate sending units for each, since both gauges were erratic before they showed no pressure. Has anyone had this problem, if so help would be appreciated.

You have electric air pressure gauges?

So you can release the parking/emergency brake and the coach will move without brake drag?

The air horns will honk?

With the parking brake released when you depress the brake pedal it sounds the same as always?

everything works, horn, brakes, releasing park brake and coach rolls freely. just electric gauges at zero, front and rear, make me believe a central VDU box must send signal from 1/4" air line for each to an electrical rehastat then on to the gauge for each?

Default m380 air brake gauges

To answer questions, yes I have electric gauges. All my other gauges work well. I found the VDU box with 2- 1/4" airlines going into the bottom(red & green), in the 1st compartment on driver side behind the relay panel cover. I haven't been able to remove it yet as the bolts are behind the ABS and relay panel edge and the back one is a problem for now.
(1) My new question is, what wire is the alarm trigger in the dash, when leaned forward against the steering wheel so the back is exposed, I can unplug a white female multi- plug from the left top of the dash light area, I just don't want to cut and repair wires until I get the right one to silence the alarm. If I leave the plug out I lose 11/2 of the warning lights in the dash that come on when turning key on. I know it must be in diagrams, but I haven't found it or color yet.

Default m380 air brake gauges

I am installing mechanical gauges if I can get and run lines to both front and rear tanks otherwise I will see if I can repair the cold soldered joints in the VDU box, that are a source of electric air gauge problems. new box is about $1000+or- if you can find one out there.

Why not just connect to the lines running to the VDU box??

I would also install a low pressure alarm on those new connections.

On the "diagram wrg front interface" schematic there is a wire going from pin 15 of P321 "Front interface to instrument panel interconnect" to pin 27 of J107 "Front interface chassis electrical center interconnect" that is labeled "Low Air." It is shown as a tn/or 18ga 2431 wire.

To help you determine if P321 is the plug you are referencing, it is a 15-wire plug, with colors from one to 15:
