Default Instrument Gage Back Lights

In my attempt to see if I could trouble shoot my "E" panel lights I noticed I some how managed to loose my instrument gage lights. I looked briefly in the manuals and didn't see anything specific to these lights. Are there fuses someplace that I am not aware of or is there a circuit breaker tripped. I am talking about the little lights in the individual gages which come on when the head lights are on. Lost them all along with the head light warning buzzer. I may have a problem at the head light switch assuming that switch also activates the back lights. I am not going to get into this too deeply but if there are fuses someplace that I can replace I'll do that other wise I'll wait for a little supervision so I don't screw anything else up. Thanks.

John,

If you lifted the lower dash panel, the headlight switch is on the extreme left side, this is a tight fit for all these troublesome Butt connectors. They tend to snag on the framework. Maybe one is loose or disconnected.

The gages are dimly lite, some may be brighter than others, some are difficult to read in the dark.
Very difficult to see the gage lights during the Day

Bill, I noticed that when reinstalling the dash panel. That isn't the problem but I am wondering if I damaged the switch?

Default Check the rheostat

John: The power for the instrument lights should come from a rheostat... rheostat getting power and rheostat turned up?

Follow Dick G's tip,

The headlight switch NAPA # HL6669, this may be a part to carry in the tool box.

I'll get a switch, you guys are just too much. That switch has been a little problematical for a while and I may have just killed it finally. I was having trouble getting the instrument pan lights on prior to my efforts and so I'll get the switch and see if that is it. Other possibility is that I pulled a wire loose which is supplying power to the mess and haven't identified it as yet. I put the bus in the garage and am going to let it sit for a while. I need a break from it. I'll get that switch and have it on hand.

That's pretty similar to what the drunk said after waking up with a real bad hangover, "I'll just put that bottle of whiskey up there on the fireplace mantle to remind me not to drink"

Anybody up for bets on how long the Heck-Man can stay away from his 'Bird?
