Under The Awning Here is where you can carry on a conversation, just like............well, like you were sitting under your awning at the campsite.

Default things not to say in a public bathroom

Last week Carol and i were on the road somewhere and stopped in a steak house for dinner.
I went to the mens room to pass water and to wash up.
There was another guy at the urinals and like men do we stared at the wall and did our business.
I was done first and washed my hands and as i was trying to exit the mens room an old man was trying to enter.
He was a little old man,and he was walking with a walker, and trying to back into the mens room, pulling the walker.

The door closure was stronger than the old guy and he had a veteran cap on and i said "here, let me hold that for you" (meaning the door).
Out of the corner of my eye i see the other guy at the urinal whip his head around!!

I laughed and said "i guess thats not what you want to hear in a mens room!"

The old guy chuckled and as i held the door i noticed he had a buddy with him, another old guy but in better health.
He also had a cap on stating he was a veteran.

I thanked them both for their service as they crowded into the mens room.
I went back to our table and told Carol what i had said and she got a good laugh out of it.

Randy, thanks for sharing the laugh.

In men's rooms where there are 3 urinals, I have a saying:
'The middle one is just for show'.
I forget where I heard it but it's stuck in my head ever since.

Lol , funny stuff .

Randy , you need to write a book of your memoirs and sayings . I believe it would be a best seller

You can call it something like " Under the Awning " .
