Default Brake lights come on with chassis battery switch and don't go out.

Hello,

I am digging through my schematics (thankfully I have them). when I turn on the master battery switch for the chassis battery my brake lights lights light up. Even with the coach off. I have gone through all the fuses under the drivers window, opened up each big plug, cleaned them and tighten them back up.

With the coach running i do not see a difference. pumping the brakes will not help.

I have a few other problems too. I don't know if it's part of this problem. my step stopped and I can't run the generator out.

I have a friend going through the schematics. Hes a yacht type.

Probably not relevant to an LX, but if the retarder is engaged on an FC the brake lights are energized.

Afraid not. Im sure it’s relays or fuses (and I did check all the fuses). I had a low battery yesterday (before I got new ones). The DC relays chattered, lights flickered and power went out. As soon as I got the new 12 volt batteries things cleared up. I had to add a AC to DC charger to make up the difference with the new inverter and LiPos. Bringing my tools and new relays to the flywheel rally and tinker while I am there. Right now we look good for generator and with some luck I’ll have the LiPos up before we leave. Found a lot of corrosion too. Got some good cleaner and will clean it up while I go. I’m sure it’s simple things with the step and the generator slide. Should be at the fairgrounds tomorrow right after 5PM

I have to look at the legend on the door. I’ll get it to you ASAP. Found the new relays at NAPA no problem. I do think I’m going to buy dozen or so more and swap them all out. I found one socket (wipers I think) slightly burnt. I cleaned it up with a dental pick and spray and got them back. Do want to replace the socket later.
