Default Gas to stove top doesn't work

New issue: The LP gas is on but we can't get it to light at the stove top. Is there a shut off switch somewhere inside the coach for the gas to the stove? We have an ice maker directly under the stove.

Follow Stephen's input.

It is a safety shutdown propane detector under the frig or stove, these
solenoids are know to be defective or hangup , the solenoid valve is probably located at or near the main propane tank shut off valve.
Check for another shutoff valve in the propane lines. check if there is propane at the Suburban heaters ( if you have gas heaters).

Those little fans are troublesome, may need a replacement, It is on the Forum someplace,
Does anyone remember this replacement part

Third: The refrig alarm goes off every time the switch in turned on. We "blew" air into the little white box in the outside compartment (help me Dick, you know what I mean) that we were told could be the problem but that didn't seem to make a difference. What else could it be that makes the alarm go off constantly?

This could be the low temp frig alarm,, sometimes when the frig is replaced this temp sensor is not hooked up or it is defective. There should be a temp sensor with a plastic clip on the finns ( Opps not John Finn) far right inside the frig.
If this is the case turn the alarm Off, the sensor can be re-attached but difficult with the frig installed.

Kathy
Keep asking someone is always on-line, good luck with your new adventure, so far these are just nuisance issues.

Kathy,

In the future please post separate questions under separate threads so the answers will all be on a specific topic for that thread.

I have separated and reposted your questions under new threads with the exception of this one, they are;

Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > General > Refrigerator alarm goes off

Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > General > Shower fan doesn't work

Kathy; I did a search for LP detector alarm. See if you can find the answer in these links. Stephen is on the right track. Not sure how to reset the gas solenoid.

http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...ighlight=reset

On the exhaust fan, the fan will not run unless the fan exhaust (cover) is open. The cover has a spring loaded switch, I think. If that is a "Fantastic Fan", the Fantastic Fan has a great Warranty and may send you repair parts for free.

http://www.fantasticvent.com/

Call the manufacturer of the fan and they may tell you how to get it running. Someone with an 1989 PT WB will know more than me about that fan...help!

On the LP going to the gas range...likely caused by the gas solenoid needing to be reset. Make sure the 12 Volt switch (battle switch) is in the ON position and also turn ON the Electronic Master also.

Additionally, be sure the Propane Tank has propane and the main valve on the tank is turned on.

Keep asking questions...the answer is here on the forum.

Kathy
New Hampshire Bill had a problem similar to yours on the LP...he can help.

Here's a link to his LP trouble.

http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...earchid=412527

Read the posts in the above link and see if that helps you find the LP solenoid.

There are 37 posts on this thread...the answer is probably toward last of the thread.

If you know a good 'gas man' in your neighborhood...give him a call to be sure your are safe!!
