Default Rusted radiator neck

I removed my radiator purge tank from my 91 wide body yesterday. I found the neck between the tank and the cap severely rusted where it had been insulated with spray foam type insulation . Just wanted to throw this out there it would be a pain to repair while on the road. Dennis

Default Rusted neck

I had to replace the filler neck with a new fabricated part. Was corroded to failure.
