Default FC35 Radiator - Fill Tank to Manifold Hose Part #

Hello,

The hose in the picture with the purple sheath looks a little suspect to me, like its being eaten into by the brass elbow coming off the doo hickey on the right.

Any help/advice/other is appreciated. Like to replace this section of hose - I'm hoping someone has a part number - please.

Thanks, Todd

The "doo hickey" is the air compressor and that discharge line gets HOT. You definitely need to fashion up some sort of protection for the radiator hose. I don't think there is anything special about the hose. Just match it up at the parts house.

Thanks Chap. I figure the purple sheath creates the 90 degree bend in the hose (back yard mechanic style) but that maybe there's a proper hose with a pre-formed elbow. Anyone?

todd, you may be right. That hose looks like regular hose. If you enlarge the picture you will be able to see that the Air Compressor is in fact melting the purple thing and the hose is next. Fix it now or fix it on the side of the road.

I replaced that hose on mine with silicone. Don't remember the ID or OD, but bought at hose shop $$. I have the same purple 90, but in blue.
