Default m380 fresh water fill problem

attached hose to inlet flipped inlet fill switch then turned water on-nothing, no water going into tank. disconnected the level switch solenoid in the tank a year ago, which was defective and had prevented water from going into tank. now, the light does not go on in the fill switch, but i hear a clunk in the next bay which may be a solenoid ? diverting municipal water into the tank. Not sure of location of the diversion switch. Ended up filling the tank on the curbside in the threaded opening of the full switch. any help would be appreciated.
