Randy, Still looking for info on castings. Decals work too. We had a slightly smaller FMCA decal made a the RITV so it would fit on the front of the bus. The FMCA plastic plate was too large to fit. WOG plate could be cast or decal or both depending on placement.

OK, I'm trying to keep from doing too much preliminary artwork here, but mainly to give a rough idea of what the finished product may look like. So I took the corporate 'Bird logo and cut out the center oval and 'Bird.

I then reduced the cutout and placed it inside of a similar shape oval with the gold band around the outside oval and the inside 'Bird cutout oval, then I added the gold background for the actual 'Bird. The wording was created in another program and copied and pasted in place with adjustments to get it to somewhat flit in the outer white band, this will give you a rough idea of what to expect, the guy that cuts the decals for me has a much better graphics software and he will distribute the letters to better fit the width of the plaque.

Also keep in mind that if we stick with this center oval and 'Bird the dimensions may not be the same as an FMCA plaque, which in my opinion is just fine, we don't want to be exactly like someone else. as far as the direction the 'Bird is flying, I have seen it going both ways on different 'Birds and then the biggest reason why the 'Bird should be flying the way it is shown here is because that is what our WOG forum logo looks like and we are not going to redesign the WOG Header on the forum. I realize that Ryan was busting my chops, but I also think we should use only the colors of our logo and no other colors even with a special order, that way they are all the same.

I would like one no matter what the final design is. I have all those colours on my bus, and more. I do think that including the URL has merit, if we are trying to spread the word. Perhaps just a separate sticker with the URL on it to be put somewhere else on the bus (bumper).

Thanks, for the most part I use Microsoft Picture It 2002 and for the Fonts and Words I use EZ-Fonts and Broderbund / The Print Shop 15. I have Adobe Photoshop but I haven't learned how to use it yet, I've been saying that for at least 3 years now

Thanks I corrected it, that was caused by no spell checker on that feature and actually a lack of nap time so far today, I have been very busy and it is catching up with me too.

Since I have retired, it seems I have gone into a two or three naps a day mode. Is that a bad sign? I'm a little worried that I might be "going over the hill".Click image for larger version
