Sounds like the center broke out of the flex plate. Not too bad to replace, just need to figure out why it broke. Should be able slide the tranny back enough to sneak the plate in without having to truly put it on the floor.

Thats what I was thinking but I have a forklift and such so I'm just going to pull the whole assembly out crack it apart, see what the problem is and either fix, clean and reinstall or so some kind of engine swap.
