I will try to find one of these new sobs here and take a picture if anything looks promising.

The upper bracket is 2x2 square tube, with ahole drilled through it.
The bottom is a big bolt, cut the head off and weld in place.

Randy and Pete, what a great idea. This is another project to add to my list. For those of us who may not have used bus shocks laying around might you have the number of the shocks you used or guidance in selecting some. Our 97 may have similar characteristics of Pete's.

I'm picking my coach up from the dealer here in an hour. I was behind about 5 Tiffin Phaetons. I tired to take pictures and the service manager asked me not to.
so on the way out they have a Spartan chassis to show off. I got pics of that.

Part 2
I saw some suspension stabilizers tucked into the suspension here and there. Also some big braces on top of the drive and steering tags. Nice, but not space age.

Sorry they came out all over the place. I set them up straight in the folder. Tired I guess or I would have caught it.

I looked up the "specs" for Spartan chassis for amusement. Those chassis have an auto levelling system on them, and I think that changes the handling as well as the IFS. I noticed they have a spring brake on the tag, is that what I'm seeing? Shocks look pretty generic. The spec sheets say Bilstein 60mm fronts and 46mm on drive and tag.
