I have 1.5" lug nut covers so I will assume 1.5" socket on my 88.

Our old Bird has 1.5" but the newer ones have gone to 33mm. Not sure when that happened.

Bill, you can purchase a socket that is made for your stud pilot wheels, I.5" with the 1" square inside of it for the inner thimbles. Something like this one

ttp://www.ebay.com/itm/3-4-Drive-Budd-Wheel-Socket-1-1-2-X-13-16-2-in-1-Truck-Lug-Socket/161066577317?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparm s=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D1 63%26meid%3D842689619132467703%26pid%3D100005%26pr g%3D1088%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D111126215617%26
