I do believe I've made a GOOD choice, in big part to the comments made by ALL who have responded to this thread.

Must be under the Bird or maybe I welded in the radiator shroud.

Anyway, I've completed the insulation on the gen doghouse. LED backup lights and all. Still waiting on delivery of generator. ORDERED NEW OIL AND TEMP GAUGES TO GO INSIDE SO THAT THEY WOULD MATCH WITH ONES IN GEN COMPARTMENT.

Got radiator installed with hayden (16") fan& shroud. Made new support arms in place of that iron anchor of a bracket that held the ac motor. That blooming thing took 1/2 day to install. It (at least for me) AIN'T NO PLUG & PLAY THINGY!!!!!!!!!

Ran short in insulation and Steven Dupree products sent me 2 more sheets the same day. Should be here Wed.

I don't care what anyone says. I Like the way they do business!!!

Hi Jeff, my Isuzu uses a engine/belt driven fan, constant drive with no potential for electronic issues. It pushes air out the entry side of the bus, dries the grass nicely on a damp day.

The Isuzu I got also blows out,I'll need to reverse fan when we get home.
It also has an alternator.

Only rattling your cage here ED.
Assume you are reversing fan direction electrically - as turning fan blade around does nuttin'

Mine has an alternator as well, in the FC out is good.

Out not so good on PT at 55 mph can hear fan fighting incoming air flow.
KC you are correct what I meant was will need reverse angle on blades,
Or maybe get longer belt and put in a figure eight. If that don't work I'll turn the generator around,motor to the rear generator head towards front,that should keep the unit cooler.

Thinking of putting in another Hayden fan somewhere on the tray. Any suggestions?????:conf used:

I BOUGHT myself one of them there keel cooled thing's. ya know like ya put in one of them there boaty things. I'm ah figuring on cutting a hole in floor and putting in a attic fan pulling air from the living space, that way when it rains I can open the vents and get a shower at the same time.:roll eyes:

Continued to work on insulating Tray, with what insulation I had left.

QUESTION---how has anyone, everyone handled insulation the bottom of TRAY. I'm kindya figuring on just putting the same insulation I've used on the rest of the project?? (Dupree Insulation).

Man--Do I need a BREAK--don't get more injections for shoulder till late Sept. VA's gonna put me on a BACK RACK!!!

IT LOOKS like I'll be picking up new Generator some time Friday, if all works out right. They can't get a truck in here, so to the terminal I GO!!!

Just playing around till I can get my hands on IT!!!
FOUND MY PHONEY THINGY--It was laying on top of the Red Strip can, on top of the front wheel. THERE YA GOOOOOOOO

Will be adding another hayden 16" fan to the roof of the generator compartment. this is my solution to moving air, compared to the 2 squirrel fans that where original to the system. This is, to say the less an experiment, and have no true idea how it's gonna work out. But hey, gotta give it a try!

Tray weight photo, correct the photo by 45 lbs. Real weight is 255 lbs. add another 30 lbs. for bottom plate-etc. Real weight--285 or there a bouts. Just for FUN
