Default engine hours/ engine miles

If a bus is showing 3900 engine hours...how many miles should it have on the speedo?

Multiply by 30mph and see what you get.

Thanks Randy. Yahoo answers said 1500 hours = 100,000 miles and that didn't seem right to me.

its been talked about here on WOG many times.
Most early coachs only average 30mph,speed limit was 55mph,and those older buses had small engines, heck,my 2000lxi has average 44mph for the last 20,000 miles, idle time and redlights etc eat up the averages.
And i don't idle my coach much.

On the OTR trucks with no sleeper we used to figure 50mph average but you know a coach would be less. 30mph avg seems low but I doubt it would be much over 40.
