Default Headlights going on and off

I have been having trouble with the headlights. Initially, I could start the bus, turn on the headlight switch and after about 15 seconds the headlights and dashboard lights would begin to go on and off on their own. This was not a flickering, they would go on and off with either high beam or low beam. After turning off the switch or the ignition this would stop.
About three weeks ago I parked the bus with no hook-ups. The house batteries quickly drained and eventually the engine batteries went down enough that I could not start the bus normally. It did start using the AUX Battery.
The Bird is now at the lot of a local mechanic who has extensive experience with buses (has done conversions) and RVs. He has found a 20AMP circuit breaker on the 1st panel (labelled BRK#1) with three wires off of it. Two of the three appear to be original factory wiring. One appears to go to the high and low beams the second (orange) to the switch. The third is a different type of wiring (red) that he suspects is an add-on.
The diagrams that I have show the circuit breaker but then go off the page on the left hand side with a note that says P11-06 and P20--04.
Can anyone point me toward further explanation on the diagrams or any ideas what is going on with the headlights?

Haven't found much (yet) other than it looks like the cornering lights might be fed from the same 20 Amp circuit breaker (BRK#1).

could this third wire go to the tail lights? They all come on with the same switch.

It looks like the power for the taillights and parking lights comes from circuit breaker SK8 (Panel B).

For what it’s worth, the SP36 Manual by Jurgen Steinmetz has a picture of BKR-1 (Panel B) in his coach and his also has 3 wires on the output of BKR-1.

Here’s a post about an SP headlight problem similar to yours:

Thanks John. I had found the thread on the headlights and have printed it off and will take that to the mechanic this afternoon.
I'm going to search the Steinmetz manual and see if I can find that picture. That could be really helpful.
