Or you could just read this thread and not have to wait on a monthly magazine. We were told almost as it happened thanks to WOG Members.

wow,it was a long day.
And it was very noisy today when I called John about the sale,so he must not have heard that Parliment paid $55,000 for the info, not $50k.
To tell you guys the truth I never got a bid in,it started at $5000,and shot up to $40K and then slowed for just a minute and went up to $55K.
Cerabus was bidding against Parliment,it always takes 2 bidders to get the price that high.

Most things went for a fair price, only problem was the lots of parts were all big lots.
So,you really had to want something to buy it,there will be lots of stuff in the dumpster next week!
i bought a few things i wanted,odds and ends.
One thing I did buy was the 6'' long chrome elbows that the WB's use on the roof exhaust stacks, the 6'' chrome is hard to find, and pricey when you do find them.
I need one for my coach, and I will have a few to sell.

All in all we had a big time, seeing everybody I know and meeting a few members that i didn't know was all good.
Tomorrow is our day off,so we will go pawn shopping and to the antique shops..

Just Curious.
For those of you that were at the auction. When the bidding for the intellectual property was happening, was anybody else bidding against Parliment, that drove the price to what it went for? If so who?
I'm still trying to figure out if there's anything of value to me and my coach in that information?

Saw Steve Mitchell yesterday at Parliament Coach. He said they are in the process of scanning the information and trying to figure out a model for distributing it. How to make it available to individual customers while at the same time protecting it from unauthorized duplication.

Is Parliament still doing conversions? Was the conversion building the lease that they let expire? They're no longer listed in the Prevost site as a dealer.
If so, there goes the last chance of a "New" Wanderlodge".(as a Prevost )

I think somewhere back in this thread it is noted that the other bidder was Blue Bird/Cerberus. Randy noted that he had been prepared to bid, but it shot past his maximum before he got a bid in.

Parliament is down to about a third of its former size, facilities and staff, but kept some pretty good people. Doubtful anyone is doing any Prevost conversions at the moment. Had the coach in there a couple of weeks ago; got great service, great attitude, and a fair price. They went well beyond the extra step.

We had the coach serviced there in Clearwater on the 24th of Dec. We had to hurry and get there because they were closing at noon, and would be closed until after the first of the year. John Martin and John Anderson did the work on the coach. Steve Mitchell took us on a tour of the whole facility and showed the coaches they were working on. We had great service, everyone had a great attitude, and a great price.
