These two blowers are in the roof of my generator compartment. They look to be original equipment. Their purpose was to take the hot air from the top of the generator compartment and exhaust it under the coach toward the curb. They are wired to the pictured solenoid. What looks like an after market switch was wired to the solenoid too. The switch and breaker was mounted in the floor of the generator carriage, meaning I would have to run the generator out to turn the blowers on. They did work when I turned the switch on. Was this original? How are they wired? What should turn them on?

I have the same blowers. Mine turn on with the generator. It looks like you have just had a switch and extra wire run for manual operation. Have you tried running the generator with the switch off to see if they still turn on? If need be, I will try to trace the signal wire on mine to the source. I do know they work.

I don't have them on my '86 PT- 36, at least I have not seen them. But I may take a look next time I roll it out.

Thanks! At least I now know they are OEM. I don't know if they ran with the genny. There was a piece of insulation hanging right in front of them when I got the coach so I didn't even know they were there until I took the genny out. Maybe the switch is an override. I'll see when I get the genny running.

Thanks John! I should have looked there in the first place. It looks like the extra switch was added as an override.
