Default FC Flooring Change

Carpet was getting a little dated, and wanted to change it out with a wood flooring product. Looking for recommendations to:
1. Trim out the steps.
2. Options for installing the flooring under the driver and passenger seats.
3. Where is an ideal area to stop the new flooring to bedroom carpet?
4. Flooring product?

Thanks in advance...

I used LVT. We have 4 kids, and need something tough and water resistant. We finished the step well with stainless...pictures here:

I did something a little different - I used Coretec Ultra, the 9" wide planks. I like how it turned out. It wears very well and isn't slippery wet or dry. Our dogs cannot scratch it, not at all. It's a lot of work either way. I can't find a good photo of the floor after I finished it, but here's on of the entry. It has the same stuff on the verticals surfaces here. It's 5/16" thick and pretty stiff stuff.

I'm starting to think about a new floor also and, am up in the air about what to do under the front seats, the engine box and steps. Has anyone used Rhino or Line X bed liner in that area? I wonder if it would be noisy around the engine area.

So mine is a little different than an FC, but I bought some rubber transition strips (same stuff that holds the ceiling panels, btw) and put a thick rubber mat that I cut to fit around the pedals and all that. It's not glued down, but it's never going to move since it's held very positively at the edge. I don't think I'd want something as permanent as rhino-liner, but it sure works nice.

In case the newcomers haven't heard, I know a "little" about flooring.
