Default 2000 LX 40 Couch Seatbelts?

As I mentioned in a previous thread, I am considering a 2000 LX 40 non-slide. It has a two couch layout. There doesn't appear to be seatbelts in either couch?

I'm not sure if they were tucked away and I couldn't find them, if a previous owner removed them, or if it never had them in the first place???

Where there originally seatbelts? If not, has anyone added seatbelts to the couches of an LX 40? I don't' want to be rolling down the road without my kiddos strapped in.

Thanks for any input,

Darin

If either couch was original to the bus there were seat belts. All the buses come with them from the factory. Now, did a PO remove them? Usually they do what I did, stuff them down the hole in the couch and they are lying on the floor underneath. If it is a jackknife type couch just raise it up a little and look underneath. They will be bolted to the floor most likely. It would not be that hard of a job to replace them if gone.
