Default florescent light ballast

hello guys i've got a florescent light over the dinet table up near the ceiling ! it's approx. 72" long . I need a new ballast for mine . anyone have any of them stowed away ? it is a 13.5 vdc and is approx. 5" long x 2" wide x 2" thick . of course it really doesn't matter the overall size as long as it works . have tried all local sources and have come up blank ! maybe someone who has converted over to "led" lights may have put their old working ones up in case there was someone in need . i am currently working a "lead" that John McGinnis found for me but thought i might try the forum in case it turns up dry like all the rest have up to now . Needless to say i'll gladly pay any n all freight n any reasonable cost for one

Possible solution is purchase a SMD5050 LED strip from ebay that has a sticky back and use that instead of a flourescent lamp. They are designed for car 12VDC applications. In the end they use less energy and are just as bright. if not brighter than the ortigional. It will also be the last time you have to fix it. PM me if you need more info

John Drake (solarseller.com) has the best prices and selections on ballasts. They are in CA.
