Tell Us Where You're At As you travel around the country, why not take the time to tell our members where you have settled for the night, week, or month. There may be another member close by, that would like to meet you, so put that information right here.

Default North Carolina State Fair - Raleigh

Got here last night. There are many campsites throughout the fairgrounds, most are off by the horse stuff. If you were considering coming to the auction, I am nearest the Jim Graham Building and the arena, we do the auction in the JG. There's a site or two at the top of the hill by the building with no water/sewer (winterized) but 30 and 50A and then there are a few down here by me with mostly 30A at the bottom of the hill, so bring your 50A extension cord and your long hose. The majority of the 50A sites are very unlevel, they are overdue to pave some pads.

The "regular" campground at the fairgrounds (above the horse stables) is a great stopover. Double dump station on the way in/out, several fairly level 50 amp full hookup sites. Open year round. Security comes by and registers you at your site.
