Default Red Mountain RV Resort, Boulder City, NV

Located at 1010 Industrial Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005
This is an owner-style park where they sell you the land you are to place your RV. We found out we could rent here by the month from individual owners. We have been here for 2 months so far and really love it. The sites are nice and wide, fairly easy to get in and out of (we have to do a 12-point turn) even for a 46’ coach. The bathrooms look nice (even though we never used them) and the clubhouse/swimming pool look nice too - the people here meet on Saturday mornings at about 8am and have donuts/coffee.
One thing we liked was that we could get fairly fast (100mbps) internet directly at our site through Cox Cable (you have to convince them it’s available) so then we could stream whatever we want.
The little town of Boulder City is very walkable (it’s a long walk from the park but doable). The businesses are all very friendly and there are many places to eat and lots of churches to attend. Several dog groomer, barbers and beauty salons are there (I recommend Frank’s Barber Shop). BC is about 20 minutes from downtown Las Vegas and the Strip. If you are planning to stay the buy one of the houseseats.com tickets to see a variety of pretty decent shows. You never know what they will be playing but we have not been disappointed yet (the tickets are good for a year and all the shows you want to see on their list which changes every day).

We stayed there for 6 months while in between houses/jobs. Had the best lot with a shade tree. Lots of good folks, our owner was great.

For future travelers, I recommend renting from the management for a week or two to scope out the best owners/lots.

There's also safe, on the street parking available on Industrial for Boondocking.
