Default 15KW Powertech Radiator

Folks,

We're here in San Diego and my genny radiator has sprung a serious leak. I don't have time to have the radiator re-cored, so I'd like to find a new replacement unit. I think the Wide Bodies use the same radiator. Anyone have a Vendor ID or a part number? I haven't removed the radiator yet so I can't inspect it for a part number. Maybe I should call Powertech.

Thanks Randy,

That's what I'll do. Enjoy Maxton's. I wish I was there, but I've got to suffer through San Diego...

Where in S.D are you? there are many shops in that area that can got your radiator redone within a couple hours and you would be back in business. I would look up Jema Auto paint owners name is Rubin, they use to do my cars when I had my car rental agency in S. D. It would take longer time to get a replacement than going ahead and repair it.
Best wishes from Florida,

Hi Hisham,

We're in the Mission Bay area. It would be unfortunate to drop the rad off and have to wait a week or more, but if I could find a fast reputable shop, it may be possible to have it repaired. Thanks for your help. In the meantime I'll call Powertech to see about a replacement. It's really a drag to be on the road on a hot day and not to be able to run all the AC's, and we're a long way from home.

Call City Chevrolet talk to John Sousa Fleet MGR. he is in Mission Bay area he or someone at the Chevy dealer should be able to direct you to a good Radiator shop in San Diego area. Sorry we have been gone for over 10 years from S. D. other wise I would have been more helpful. Many of the shops is S. D. are open on Sat.
If John is still around till him that Hish from Express Rent a Car said hello.
Good luck.
