Doug I’m guessing you’re planning a route to Kerrville. From OKC take 44 south to Wichita Falls. In Wichita Falls you’ll catch 281 south. South of Wichita Falls 30 miles or so 16 south will branch off of 281. You can run 16 south all the way to Kerrville. It’s mostly 2 lane highway all the way to Kerrville. Small towns along the way. Option 2 would be run 281 south from Wichita Falls all the way to Johnson City then take 290 west to Fredericksburg. In Fredericksburg you’ll get on 16 south to Kerrville. 281 is a little bigger road than 16 but neither is terrible compared to 35 and Dallas. Hope this helps.

“Clapped-out-Honduhs”. I thought we only had those in Oakland. Sorry to hear they are multiplying.

16 looks like a nice meandering route to take. So that’s the plan for us. Thanks again.
