Default Fish tacos!!

John Finn and i got thrown out of a place once, for talking about fish tacos!

Today i was craving fish tacos.
So down to the market and got a nice slab of salmon,i came home and covered it with apple jelly, garlic salt and cayenne pepper and wraped it tight in foil.
Into the oven at 325 for about 30min and then out to cool a little.
Mean while i'm frying some yellow rice and heating some red beans up (canned).
On the flat top i'm grilling some onions and cabbage slaw,on the cutting board i have a sliced avocado.

Once the onions are browned up good i threw the fish on the flat top with a good dose of butter,i browned it up on each side and called it good.
The torts were in the skillet and i wiped them down with some bacon grease and browned them up nice and crisp!

Now that was a great ending for a busy day!!

Fish tacos. Reminds me of the punchline of a joke that does not bear repeating here.

We also make fish tacos at home. Ours are relatively simple. Corn tortillas (fried lightly in oil), fish of your choice, Cole slaw or shredded cabbage, shredded cheese if you want, and El Torito Cilantro Pepita Caesar Salad dressing to taste. Yum, yum.

I admire your ability. My wife has been in Colorado for a week and I'm on my 3rd loaf of raisin bread. Contrary to the Biblical admonition, Man CAN live on bread alone.

Stick,i will be glad to feed you.
But leave the raisin bread at home!

Raisin bread, that reminds me of KC.
we went into a truck stop to eat one day and KC told the waitress he wanted raisin bread toast, buttered on both sides!
She didn't get the joke!
