The sporlan diaphragm has a little hole in the rubber that needs to be open.

When I had an FC, I had a manual valve in line with the sporlan and filled the tank using the cable operated winterizing drain valve which was opened and closed with knobs behind a little door on the bed pedestal.

Interesting as my 97 BMC does have a sporlan valve.

Yea I have water!!!!
If I turn the switch to fill the tank then turn it off it still goes to the tank till I shut it off at the source, then turn it back on and I have city water.
The pump is it's old loud self and pumping properly too!

If anyone else has the Sprolan under a pipe. Take the 4 screws out and get it loose, then take off the actuator on top. I found that was the only way (reverse) to get it back in.
