Paint issues. When the clear coat is coming off- - the only way to fix it properly is to (sand, prime, re-coat with base color and then three coats of clear). You just shouldn’t just re clear over old base coat, because of how the process is suppose to work. A base/clear system works as a chemical bond to each other. Sanding is a mechanical bonding process. That’s why sanding is done before spraying anything such as primers or rattle can painting.

There are things that can be done on the roof that are economically and will last for years. Then there is always just having a painter (like me, hint hint, re paint it to factory specs. Welcome to call and talk through what is available.

Sean is a good painter and experienced, I took a little different approach, sanding old surface always a must, I applied a single stage paint along with heat reflecting beads ,by use of a roller. Just a little easier.

Let me explain!
Crit has a great dry sense of humor,he has sarcasm down to a fine art.
I also have a sick sense of humor so Crit and i get along fine, plus he loves dogs.

It will take you a little while to figure out birds, and bird owners!

Thanks for bringing that up Paul.
Lots of ther guys have gone that route and Sean did a job like that just last Oct.
I think the white emron with beads is the way to go,mine will get that treatment when the time comes.
Of course by then we may have a plasma treatment or something..
Maybe its protoplasma?

Hey Rich there are numerous 450 owners here on WOG and any of us will be glad to help you. The trick to this forum is if a solution is found we try to post it where all can learn. Jump in and join the fun. If you can come to Pine Mountain in October and we all can get together.

Feel free to email or PM if I can help you. Welcome to WOG.

I wish I could be of some help but we are relatively new 450 owners also. We are going through the same process of updating the electronics and TV's in our bus also. We have a new in motion satellite installed as an update from the PO. Our last trip we used a Verizon hotspot with little issues but had issues when trying to cast to our TV's. Will need to update with a router to push from the hotspot but we are in no hurry for now. We have YouTube TV so in my mind as long as I have hotspot reception we are good to go.
Welcome to the WOG. Great resource of wealth and knowledge. Call me anytime to discuss my experiences thus far if you like.
