We purchased a 450lxi last month that was on market in MD for a year. 47900 miles, 1113 engine hrs. Been hooked up in same RV park for past 9 years, run regularly and well maintained by PO.
Roof Questions/Thoughts:
1. Rear dish was from 1st owner who may have used coach for 4 yrs as office. No controls seen. Probably remove this unit.
2. Front KVH dome is connected to 2 Direct TV boxes. We use Roku/YouTube Live for TV's at home, works great. Considering removing KVH antenna and inserting Wineguard Connect inside dome and using 2 Roku sticks in TV's which have HDMI.
3. Roof has a deteriorating "clear coat" which is peeling in some areas. Can/should this be removed and reapplied to protect paint?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Rich,

One thing I would check on your coach...I called on it looking to buy last fall...is the front tire size. I was told it had the 315/80R22.5 up front.

Not sure how this one did not get the 365/70R22.5's, unless the owner had changed them out since I talked with him.

I am not a TV/Sat?Roku ect type guy. Someone here can help you with that.

As far as the roof, we have a bit of peeling in two spots on out roof. I will be talking to a paint guy on how to repair. I am thinking a bit of color sanding and then shot with clear coat. The nice thing is it is the roof and no one can see it.

Congrats on your purchase. You will enjoy the coach. There is a big learning curve, but it gets easier every day you are in the coach. we just spent a month on the road and I have become so much more comfortable with the bus.

We can help, one of the electronics guys will be along to tell us what dish if any is still good,so much of that stuff is obsolete.
The roof paint can be saved, some shops will say no,but i had a guy years ago that could work magic with clear coat.
We have a bird owner that can do that same magic and hes done lots of small things for me,but hes done bigger stuff for other wanderlodge owners.
Sean Dixon is his name.
He will be along tomorrow.

Thanks for choosing wog.
Crits handshake comment is a private joke thing, think nothing of it.
I will be glad to explain by email.
Welcome to the zoo!
