CDC rules for dogs entering USA effective Aug 1, 2024
In order to eliminate the risk of dogs crossing the border with rabies, the CDC is requiring additional steps effective August 1, 2024.
https://www.cdc.gov/importation/brin...ates/dogs.html From what I read, this applies to Canadian dogs, as well as to US dogs returning to the States from a trip to Canada. I would encourage dog owners to read the regulations in order to avoid hassles at the border. They could really impact your trip to Alaska.
