My Yanmar had been running great but it started slowing down then quit. I restarted and it ran for 10-15 seconds then slowly quit. I changed out the fuel filter in the Racor and the air filter. The fuel filter was dirty, the air was not bad. I didnt change the spin on filter. Started and did same thing as before ron and slowly quit. While it was running it was making power. Im going to go get a spin on fuel filter and change that one too. Not sure!!! Any words of wisdom.

I'm not familiar with the Yanmar engines but if it was a Powertech with a Kubota, I would be suspicious of the electric fuel pump.

Might want to observe the fuel solenoid to make sure the arm is staying in and/or manually keep it in. The fuel solenoid is on the passenger side and when starting the gen there is an arm that pushes in towards the back of the bus. If it is a clogged fuel filter it will not stay running despite keeping the fuel solenoid pushed in. At least you are generating power when it is running.
