BB did not wire the 7 pin connector to the standard trailer wire hookup method.
Get a meter and ring out each pin individually.

On our old bird we wired in a truck trailer junction box then replaced the plug
we tested every wire placed on appropriate terminal that fioxes the bluebird missteps
box 15.00
receptacle 7.000
plug 6.00

Bought a new round male 7 unit and rewired the whole thing. With a test light everything checks out. We'll see when I actually hook it up to a trailer!

If BB 7 blade is wired standard 7x4 adapter should work fine - that is assuming trailer is also wired standard. Recheck my drawings if necessary. Don't overload any of the circuits, especially the running, marker lights. Consider adding relays to draw current directly from batteries. Both you and the coach will be happier .
Note - the blue brake wire on my drawing (position#2) is feed to electric brakes - not brake lights
Hope to stop by and see you on my next PA trip.
