Default Cottonwood Arizona

Today we had 6 Bluebird couples at an impromptu luncheon in Cottonwood. Since this lunch we have found 3 more birds. They are flocking in.

I know the lunch didn't happen withiut at least one picture so....

If you get a chance don't miss the Gold King Mine Ghost town, in Jerome. Some guy started charging admission to his junkyard....but it's pretty cool to see.

Our first big trip in the bus had us spending Labor day weekend in the Cottonwood Walmart waiting on a transmission line. The view was fantastic!

Thanks Kip, It's a great place to visit. Wayne and I visited today for the third time in three years. Don, the old man who collected all the artifacts, died since our last visit. He left the place to his step daughter and she seems nearly as knowledgeable about the collection as he did. Good fun for anyone who likes old stuff.

Anyone still here in a week & a half might consider the Burro Creek Hot Bird get together, 24-26 Mar. While group site will likely be full, the CG has first-come-first-served walk-in (drive-in ) sites & yes, they accept the geezer pass = $7/site/nite.
