A lot of dough in 1979 considering the minimum wage was under $3.00!

According to inflation calculators, 2017 equivalents:
$107,000 = $382,000
$113,000 = $403,000
$130,000 = $464,000

Would still be expensive to buy a new one

When you add on certain options or different floor plans, that's half a million for a 35 footer. .

Thanks to all for the input as to costs in 79. I recently acquired one. Now I wonder what was std on a base model? Mine has the CruiseAir airconditioners and thank God, they all work. It would be fun if someone had a price list of options and prices. 'Spose if I did a search I might come up with one.

We have the paperwork on ours. I don't have it in front of me, but it was $98000 something if I remember right. Give me a few days and I can maybe get a picture of it to put on.

I remember a list of accessories and their individual prices being posted some time ago, probably several years ago. Should be in the archives someplace (I am not good at using the search function). For what it is worth, the title on my 80 FC 31, shows mfg. list price as $165,000
