Default Newbie: How To Remove Front TV??

Hello,
I recently purchased a 2003 43LXI Wanderlodge. I've been spending some time with the coach trying to learn the various systems. I have a lot to learn.

I am considering replacing the original front TV but I have not yet figured out how to remove it. I have the trim panel under the TV removed but I am still unclear how to remove it. Any Ideas???

Tim, not sure about yours, but my '93, had screws going into the TV cabinet, from the sides of each of the adjacent cabinets. You will have to hunt for them in the material used to cover the inside of the cabinets. I have been inside an '03 but can't recall how the TV is set up in them, so my info may be useless to you.

From pictures it looks like the TV in a 2003 Lxi may be a plasma monitor similar to an M380. If that's the case, there are 4 posts on the back side of the TV, with two sliding bars from below that ride into slots in the posts.

If that's what you have you will see it by looking from below up the backside of the TV. There will be two steel pieces held up with a single screw each. The TV is released by unscrewing those screws and pulling down on the steel pieces. They don't slide down easily. Definitely a two-person job at a minimum to hold the TV and pull those bars down.
