Gotta love ❤️Rick’s understatements,

If you are one of those I-phone people then turn the phone sideways with the volume control at top I think and it will be right side up. Then take another pic for your avatar too. I'm glad somebody finally spoke up. Those of us on computers get neck strain.

Randy...is that a air pump/compressor on the to left? And I know that’s the A/C compressor on the to right as you are looking at the engine. Well unless your pics come out side ways every time.

Just some thoughts & FYI:

1: Facing engine top left is your air compressor. It should have a air inlet filter box on inboard side. Remove lid and inspect. Filter likely gone or dirty. Just buy some air cleaner foam media (garden tractor air filter) and cut to fit.

2: Carefully inspect power steering and fuel hoses. If leaking, weeping, or hard...replace before failure. Local NAPA can often make new hoses with fittings.

3: Check entire air inlet passageway and air filter for restrictions/debris.

Impressive project...good luck and good for you for saving an FC!
