Never been to either factory but I do recall being told by a member here that they took a tour of the Foretravel factory expecting to yuck it up. However, at the end of the tour they were impressed.

Having said that, the ones I have seen appeared to be very different in construction compared to a Bird. Fiberglas or what appeared to be fiberglass siding/roof vs metal. More knowledgeable people would know more.

I guess it depends on your budget and what you want.

I think Roger Berke the Aqua Hot guy had a Foretravel as I remember working on his generator at "Q" many years ago.

Good luck!!

I know a LOT about birds. I also know a LOT about Foretravels, Monacos, Newmars, Newells, Prevosts, etc
hard to make a comparison.
Whatever you choose, I for one will not laugh at your selection

Tom
I've owned both and lived in them full time. No complaints on either one. I would not buy a Foretravel newer than a 03.

Gotta love the Birdbrains. Could make some jokes about fore-something.

I looked at both & 2nd runner up was a Foretravel. I bought the Bird because at the time I got a whole lot more coach for the money comparing like years, size, ect. Now that I am using it regularly & doing much of my own maintenance myself I appreciate the quality of the Blue Bird & ease of troubleshooting (with the help of WOG) and very glad I chose steel over fiberglass. We get
a lot of compliments & many curious questions when we park most are amazed it's older than it looks. Whatever you buy the secret is to use it & enjoy it!

Most folks we run across in the campgrounds can't believe our coach is 24 years old. They hold up we with good maintenance.

Here is a link to a walkaround of a Foretravel U300, which sounds pretty close to a U320.
