Default Bulk Oil Fill PPV

I think my bulk oil PPV has gone south. With my 'bird aired up, there's small amount of oil "oozing" out of the top of what I beleive to be the PPV.

I'd take a picture but my camera is on the blink, so here's my question: At the bottom of my bulk oil tank is a red cube about an inch square and configured in a "t" fashion, with a perhaps 1/4 inch tube going through the middle.

IS THIS THE PPV?

IF it is 12 volt activated it is probably the solenoid air valve,
It will look similar to one of these valves. Cube or sometimes round

This is the PPV,

The PPV is located on the right rear frame rail in the engine compartment, its in the same area as the schrader valve just above the bumper.
Follow the air line from the bulk oil tank and it will lead you to the PPV.

Tommy

Just a thought: if we/"I" overfilled the bulk oil tank: it was up to top.
It may just be a small overflow issue and not be a defective part may
just be my mistake in filling your tank. try pumping a qt into motor or another jug and see if problem goes away I speculate it will clear up.
Sorry Buddy my bad I think. From what you describe it sounds like an air vent issue, won't hurt just be messy may even be good to prevent rust/sticking sol valve.

Mine will leak if I put more that 4 gallons in it. I tried 5 and it leaked until I used a gallon and then stopped. Leaked somewhere around the red cube. I assumed that the vent is in that area but never researched or the vent was above and ran down on the red cube..

Same here, mine leaks down until it's almost a third down from the top. Then it quits dripping.

Default Bulk Oil Fill PPV

Must be the vent and we did overfill the bulk tank. I found the PPV and what is "oozing" would most likely be a vent, as some of you have experienced.

Thanks y'all......
