That came together real nice, probably even better than OEM.

Nice work. Some talent you have. It's been fun to follow along and learn a few new tricks.

Thank you for the kind words. We still have to cover the bed top with the same grey carpet. That will keep the mattress from slipping around.
Once the floor has carpet ,the covers that hide the water lines down the sides will be covered with the same carpet as the floor. I have installed LED light strips in the valances, they light the bedroom very well. The bed side tables will have tops made of granite or some other solid surface. The bedroom is much nicer than it used to be, a very rewarding project.

Here are the photos of the grey carpet on the bed top. The only thing left to do is order a mattress, pick out carpet and top the bedside tables with granite.
I'm most impressed with the final look and very happy with the finish of the project. I read a lot of posts and how impressed people were with the project and a few words kept popping up; fantastic, wow, nice, clever, artistic, Master, great, I agree with all of these wholeheartedly. One phrase I liked was from David G in Toronto " better than OEM". Thanks Peter. More about the project in an upcoming post.

Peter, on coaches I put flooring in, I have cut down those side runs a little. I figure that any extra space on the side a fella can get really helps getting around the bed. I know that some of those are governed by the debth of the electrical outlet.
