I'll kick this dog again...Anyone try to put together a group buy? If there is still interest, I will pursue a couple of sources.

There are two problems on the "group buy" front. First is that a lot of us who want one, have one.

The second is that there is an existing major discount available to any individual buyer, such that a group buy is unlikely to save more.

I left my old one with Blue Thunder and ordered a new one from RVUpgrades on a Saturday. Spencer (the buyer of Blue Thunder) mentioned to me on the following Monday that he had been talking to Silverleaf about his, and when he told them he got it from me they mentioned that they had just shipped my new one to me. I didn't know it when I ordered, but when you order from RVUpgrades they are drop-shipped from Silverleaf. Hard to beat that $93 discount!

Thanks again for WOG, I pickup a Silverleaf unit from the company in Albany, OR yesterday, ordered from RVupgradestore on Monday and drove to Albany Monday late AM and picked up the unit.

Had a little trouble putting the drivers in for Windows 7, called the tech at SL and he had me up and running in a few minutes.

I mess with my setup a lot, and there definitely are more than a few ways to do it. In the three attached pictures the first is a setup I was using in 2010, the second is a short-lived standalone earlier this year, and the third is my current setup.

Sirius receiver. There is a Sirius radio standard in the M380, but it would require a separate subscription. We move this one back-and-forth to a cradle in the house. Besides that, it has an ala carte subscription (50 channels of our choice) that is about half the price of a full subscription, and the built-in one (or any other old one) is not eligible for ala carte.

Sorry to resurrect a 3 year old thread, but I wanted to share that Silverleaf has some Internet Specials (used or refurbished units with serial JIB) for $186. Includes the JIB and Cable. Seems like they have quite a few for our engines.

There are also (at the time of this post) two USB JIBs for $229.

Silverleaf Internet Specials
